I've had the feeling recently that the purpose of my current life is to experience as many different forms of love as possible.  I get along differently with each member of my own family, and I've kind of adopted my best friend's family as my own.  She says that they love me more than they love her.  I doubt that, but anyway..  She has two neices, one of whom now calls me her uncle, and this is the source of the greatest joy of my life so far.  That is, until I get a neice or nephew of my own.  Beyond that, I've had all kinds of relationships, some deeply emotional, others merely physical.  But each one has been quite different from all the others.  "Love is all around."

I've also come to the conclusion that my current life is simply the downtime between other, more important lives.  Every now an then a soul gets tired, and needs a vacation kind of life.  "Homer, the Reluctant Soul."

To heck with the bag flying in the wind.  Beauty really is all around us, and it's an amazing gift to be able to see it.  Love everyone.
